Today I'm going to share a few common methods for removing text, watermarks, and logos from videos, and the last one is the latest and most effective AI-based method. Let's get started:

Method 1: Black Bar Overlay

How to: Manually draw a black overlay, making sure it covers the subtitles and is positioned between the safe frame and the subtitle safe frame. Then drag the new subtitle overlay to the V2 track to cover the video subtitles. This gives your video a cinematic feel.

Pros: Maintains original video aspect ratio, adds to a cinematic vibe.

Cons: The image size is reduced, therefore information is lost.

Method 2: Cropping and Masking

How to: In the video effects section, find the "crop effect" and drag it into the material. Then adjust the top and bottom parameters according to the exact location of the video subtitles.

Pros: Similar to Method 1, it maintains the original aspect ratio, creating a cinematic feel.

Cons: The image size is reduced, therefore information is lost.

Method 3: Scale and Displacement

How to: Move the pointer to where the subtitle is, open the control panel, and enlarge it proportionally while finely adjusting the position of that material to make the subtitle disappear.

Pros: Direct and effective, easy to use.

Cons: The size of the material is changed, and therefore not suitable for close-up or close-range shots.

Method 4: Gaussian Blur

How to: In the effect panel, search for "Gaussian blur" and use it as a mask on top of the subtitle. Then adjust the blur degree according to the original video.

Pros: Easy to learn, ideal for logo masking.

Cons: It can affect the image aesthetics and make the original position of the video blurry.

Method 5: Background Replacement

How to:
