When you complete the work processing and find that there are parts of the work that have been erased by mistake, you can use the function of [Remover Area Edit] to protect the parts that you do not want to be erased. The operation process is as follows:

  1. Log in to the web version of GhostCut and click on the function“Video Inpainting/Remover”;

  1. Upload the video you need to process or select the video directly from the material library;

  1. Enter the Remover editing page. There are two buttons in the lower left corner, namely [Add erase area] and [Add protection area].

If you want to erase somewhere，Click [add erase area] At this time, there will be a blue box in the video screen, change the size of the box, set the area you want to Inpainting and the time period where the area is located. Pay attention to selecting a little more time range, and the picture observed by the naked eye may not be accurate.
  2. Click the blue line below to set and drag this block to set the start and end positions. This block can be dragged in size.

If you want to protect somewhere，Click [add Protected Area] At this time, there will be a green box in the video screen, change the size of the box, set the area you want to protect and the time period where the area is located. Usually, this feature is used in conjunction with smart text removal or hard subtitle translation to avoid accidental erasure.
  2. Once all the editing are set, you can simply click the submit button at the top right corner. The GhostCut will operate again based on the protection area or the specified erase area you set. You can adjust the video Remover area repeatedly and there will be no additional charge for Remover-related adjustments.
